	Paintstiks* Paintstiks* oil colors are a blend of linseed and quality pigment in stick form much like a soft crayon. The paint stick is rubbed onto a non-porous palette (freezer paper). The paint is picked up with the stencil brush and applied to the stencil using a circular motion from the stencil into the cut out portion of the stencil. Since the paint is not a liquid you don't have to worry about paint seeping under the stencil. Unlike liquid paints, colors may be blended and shaded with little difficulty. The Paintstiks* is self sealing and may be used for many projects over again. They work best on a satin or egg shell painted surfaces. 			Brushes We have found Robert Simons stencil brushes to be unsurpassed in quality and durability. When promptly cleaned they will last for many, many stenciling projects. One brush for each color is recommended but you can get by with only one if you clean and dry between color changes. We offer brushes in sets of three or four or individually.


					Erasers Even professionals make mistakes. This eraser will remove Paintstiks* paint from most surfaces if used promptly before the paint dries.
		Clean Up We carry two nifty products that will make your brush cleaning a snap. "The Masters" Brush Cleaner and Preserver is a specially formulated water based soap that will remove wet or dry oil and acrylic paint from your brushes without damaging the brush bristles. The Brush Scrubber helps work any cleaning solution into the bristles and provides a scrubbing action. Stencils may be cleaned with a household cleaner such as "409", "Fantastic" or "Simple Green"

					Tape Stenciling vertical surfaces requires painters tape to hold the stencil in place while applying the paint, The tape we sell is repositionable but is not so tacky that makes it difficult to remove.

					Spray adhesive is used to hold large and intricate stencils to vertical surfaces. This adhesive makes the stencil repositionable similar to Post It Notes and can be cleaned from the stencil with most solvents
